This typical California wood post & baem 1950’s house is expanded in various ways and completely reworked on the interior. Expansions include the widening of the kitchen in a new projection to the west and the office space in the basement including the greenhouse to the east and a small deck. The bathrooms are also rearranged.
The exterior enclosure is upgraded with a new roof including insulation and reflashing, new doors and windows and new stucco. While the house is significantly altered, it is intended to be in harmony with the fundamental strategies of the original.
